About: Ahantaman Girls’ Senior High School is an all-girls institution under the Ghana Education ServiceThe school was established in 1948 by a Business inclined educationist called Emmanuel Kwesi Idun Originally, it was started as Takoradi Commercial Academy near Sekondi in the Western Region of Ghana The school formally became known as Royal Commercial College popularly known in the twin city as ROCOCOIn 1980, the school adopted a name from the traditional area which came to be known as Ahantaman Secondary SchoolThen it became Ahantaman SHS and the status of the school was changed on 17th November, 2010 from a co-educational institution to a single sex school and this is Ahantaman Girls SHS . To create a school, conducive for an excellent and holistic education that can shape and develop the lives of young girls into educated, confident and enterprising women of outstanding character Ahantaman Girls’ Senior High School will provide a variety of academic, moral and relevant education to unearth talents and develop knowledge, skills, values and character of the girl child in fulfilment of her ambition and potential.
About: T he school was founded by the Traditional Authorities with the approval of the then Ministry of Education now Ghana Education Service. The school was officially opened on 15th November, 1968 as a non-denominational Christian bias institution�It started as a residential school for boys only, which became a co-educational institution that has operated both residential and day systems since September, 1971�The school was housed in the premises of the then Presbyterian Boys’ Secondary at Odumase; the seat of the Manya-Krobo Traditional Area�The school moved to its new site at New Nuaso, which is about 80 kilometers North East of Accra in the 1988/89 academic year. MAKROSEC has a land size of 120 acres and a work force of 151 made up of 85 teaching and 66 non-teaching personnel� To transform MAKROSEC into a First Class (GRADE A) Institution dedicated to the total development of the student in particular and MAKROSEC Community in general. About: Assin State College was established in October 2006 as a private co-educational institution through the initiative and efforts of the Chief, Elders and some prominent opinion leaders of Assin Bereku who gave the name “Assin State College” to the school. The first batch of students reported to the school on Friday 13th October, 2006. Regular classes started on Monday 16th October, 2016 in three programmes- General Arts, Business and Agricultural Science. The inauguration of the school was done by officers from the Assin Fosu District Education Office and GNAT officers on Tuesday 17th October, 2006. Three years after its establishment, Assin State College was absorbed into the public system on 5th October, 2009. ASCO envisages a college where all students, regardless of their geographical region, gender, religion or ethnicity, who enrol in the school, are given equal opportunity and access to quality education which will empower the students. About: Aduman Senior High School was established in November, 1965 as Aduman Training College to train teachers but phased out in 1971 as a result of a national education policy to begin the then desired secondary school education for students in March, 1972 Since the policy effective date, Aduman Senior High School which is located in a congenial academic environment in a notable ancient town of Aduman, Afigya-Kwabre District in Ashanti Region, serves as the citadel for the training of students in six (6) approved programmes namely; General Science, General Agriculture, General Arts, Business, Home Economics and Visual Art; for advanced studies for national development with the 2015/16 student population standing at 2,757 and a staff strength of 202.
