About: It was established in 1991 by the PNDC Government with an initial student population of 36The school now has a population of 2,614 with male students numbering 874 and female numbering 1,740 A particular incident worthy of mention about the school was when the school was nearly abandoned to phase out on its own due to woefully poor enrolment in 1997/98 academic year However, the timely intervention of the school management and the Board of Governors revamped enrolment and made the school raise its head again, and now the school is a force to reckon with in the areas of academics, sports and enrolment To be the preferred senior high school in the Western Region with doors opened to admit the less fortunate Ghanaian youth financially and academically with a view to transforming them to become useful assets in the society. To educate the Ghanaian youth to become responsible citizens through quality teaching and learning processes
