About: AB REVIEW SAYS Founded on February 24, 1950 by the E.P church, Mawuli School is one of the early secondary schools in the Volta region. The school over the last years has gained back its glory posting outstanding results in academics and other extracurricular programs. The school’s motto “Head, Heart and Hand” shows students the entirety of life by using their heads, nurturing their hearts and being skillful with their hands. Mawuli School has a powerful PTA that readily supports in improving the school’s infrastructure. OMSU, the school’s alumni has over the years showed support in raising the standards of the school just as former years. AB review survey shows the old student association is doing a good job but can do more in support of their alma mata. Performance in extracurricular activities is among the best, gaining places in the interschool’s debate, drama festival and the independence march past competition. Even though the school’s name was changed, it still comprises a junior seminary which trains potential catechists. Founded in 1955, the school has continually chalked success in academics and sports making them the toast of the Koforidua Township, where the school is situated. Pojoba, the school’s alumni is a relatively strong alumnus but students write that they can do more to support the school in modernizing its facilities. The school can have a face lift by creating a constantly updated website and channeling its good profile to the public through various media outlets. The school has a favorable discipline record that is the benchmark for other schools in the region. Inside information from sister schools: Pojoss boys are handsome, intelligent and neat, but are sometimes haughty. STUDENTS SAY “…” Students adore their uniforms: a yellow shirt and blue trunks that make them noticeable in every gathering.
