About: AB REVIEW SAYS Kadjebi-Asato Senior High School celebrated its 50th anniversary on October 3, 2009. The school popularly referred to as KASEC is located in the Volta Region. Established by the Ghana Education Trust, the foundation stone of the school was laid on the 5th September, 1959. KASEC has established a good disciplinary record one which is the envy of many schools in the region. Academically, the school has performed creditably in the WASSCE but more can be done to be at par with the top academic institutions. Students are encouraged to take part in other extracurricular activities. The school is the recent champions of the Volta Region Cocoa Quiz competition and the regional volleyball champions. The school is a model school, which means the government is taking steps to update the school’s facilities to a model state. Aside the government, the school’s PTA has been very supporting, aiding the school in a number of projects. Some of the facilities the school possesses include assembly hall, clinic and computer lab. The school’s strong areas are a strong presence on the internet and an active social environment. Its popularity ratings are low and can do more to create a more academically challenging environment.
