Sarpong as the first headmaster. It was absorbed into the public system in 1974It runs the following programmes: Science, Business, General Arts, Home Economics, Elective ICT and Visual ArtsAbout two-thirds of the students’ populations are boarders whilst the remaining one-third are day students In 2008 the school was upgraded as a model school and has since seen tremendous population increase from 320 students to the present three thousand
