AB REVIEW SAYS Located on a hill at the outskirts of Elmina town, Edinaman Senior High’s improvement in facilities to meet top standards and its good performances in sports has made it the talk of the town. Some of the school’s facilities include an ultramodern assembly hall, library, dining hall, ICT and science lab. The school has the second largest dining hall in the country and the library has a capacity of four hundred. The regional hockey champions in hockey and also champions of the interschool zone competition in girls’ football, Edinaman Senior High has a proven record in sports. This alongside with the numerous clubs and societies gives the school an invigorating social environment. Edinaman Senior High school is a mixed school that was established in 1978. It started at the Elmina Castle as a day school. In 1992, it moved to its current location, located in Elmina and on the Paul Isert Hill, close to Pershie , Elmina. In 1998, it started admitting students into the boarding house too. Edinaman Senior High School has seen a lot of developments over the years, however, the most remarkable is the upgrading of the school into a model first institution in 2007. The school offers General Arts, General Science, Home Science, Business and Visual Arts programmes. Currently, we have a student population of one thousand, six hundred and thirty four and a teaching staff population of ninety two.
