AB REVIEW SAYS Tema Senior High was opened on Friday, the 22nd of September 1969. The school immediately gained popularity for its good academic and sports results. With a population of over 1500 students, the pride of Tema can boast of creditable school facilities including a school library, science lab, computer lab, football pitch and a basketball court. Tema Senior High has a good reputation in the metropolis for their prowess in sports. They have won more accolades in sports than any other school in the metropolis. The school’s cadet corps is among the most revered in the country. The school’s alumni group is fairly active but can do more to motivate the current students and support the upgrade of the school’s facilities. Survey reveals that encroachment is a major problem for school authorities. STUDENTS SAY “…” Social environment on campus is impressive. There are many clubs and societies and effective spiritual groups. Popular among them are: GUNSA, junior achievement, Scripture union, readers and writer’s club, cadet, etc Facilities-wise, the computer lab must be opened up for more space.
