About: AB REVIEW SAYS Little known in other regions, Toase Senior High is gradually gaining reputation in the Ashanti region as an upcoming school. The school has a supportive PTA that recently donated a 80-seater bus to the school amongst other things. Academic performance over the years has been impressive recording an impressive passing rate in the last WASSCE. In spite of these achievements, the school needs an infrastructure upgrading. The school lacks adequate dormitories and other basic boarding facilities. The school has potential to be a stronghold in the region and the country as a whole. A good job is being done by school authorities to voice out its grievances through the media outlets. This proactive step it has taken alone shows that steps are being taken in the right direction to uplift the school’s image. That makes it a school with potentials. STUDENTS SAY “…” Sports and other extracurricular activities are generally encouraged. A ceremony was held recently to inaugurate the school’s cadet corps. Teachers are generally committed to work and the administration prides itself in maintaining a good discipline record over the years. Students call for a more equipped science and computer lab and improvement of other school facilities. Talking about campus food, one student notes “dining hall food needs improvement but my favorite chow is rice and palm nut soup”.The official name of the school is Toase Senior High School but it is popularly known by the acronym ‘TOSS’ It was converted from teacher training college into secondary school in the year 1971Currently, it has a population of over three thousand and five- hundred (3,500) students. About: AB REVIEW SAYS Roman Ridge School is located at No. 8 Onyasia Crescent in Roman Ridge, Accra, on a carefully planned and beautifully landscaped setting to offer an idyllic setting for the education of its students. This vision has since been adopted and supported by the mother church, seeing that the problem meant to be dealt with by this project is the peculiarity of the community; the school has been strategically situated at Gbawe near Mallam. The school was officially opened on 28th April 1998 and has been called the Pentecost Vocational Training Institute. The school started with fifteen students and enrollment now is 250.
