PENTECOST VOCATIONAL TRAINING CENTRE
About: n the year 1995, the women’s Wing of the Church of Pentecost saw the need to establish a Vocational Training Institute not only to take care of the educational needs of girls but also to reduce the percentage of unemployment among women in the community and the country in general. This vision has since been adopted and supported by the mother church, seeing that the problem meant to be dealt with by this project is the peculiarity of the community; the school has been strategically situated at Gbawe near Mallam. The school was officially opened on 28th April 1998 and has been called the Pentecost Vocational Training Institute. The school started with fifteen students and enrollment now is 250.
