About: AB REVIEW SAYS Established in 1952, an all boys’ Catholic boarding school in Kumasi, named after the Asante King, Opoku Ware 1, Opoku Ware Senior High is a highly competitive school that has turned out numerous influential men in our society. The school has passed out more than 8000 students and has a current population of 1300. OWASS, as they are affectionately called, is a top school by all standards with well equipped facilities which includes two (2) libraries, French training center, and three (3) science labs among others.
