The School’s Official name is Ghana Armed Forces Senior High Technical SchoolThe school was founded on 28th January, 1991 and it is located within the Old Uaddara Barracks, the former home of the 4 Battalion of Infantry near Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital in Kumasi The school currently offers Seven (7) programmes, which are; General Science, General Agricultural Science, General Arts, Technical, Visual Arts, Home Science and Business The school is a mixed school and offers both day and boarding facilities to students and has a student population of about 2200 The teaching staff strength is One Hundred and seven (107) teachers. Commit ourselves to achieve excellence in the following areas: • Maintain and work to enhance academic standards • Pursue infrastructural development to enhance the school’s visibility.
