The school was founded in 1985 by the Regional Directorate of Education (Western Region)The school was named after Nana Bompeh, deceased chief of Sekondi who was enthusiastically concerned about the educational need of his community Bompeh started with thirty-nine (39) students and ten (10) teachers in a single-storey building which was an Experimental Junior Secondary School. The first batch of fifty-eight (58) students was registered to write the General Certificate of Education (GCE ‘O’Level) in 1990. The school moved to its present site in 1991 Bompeh Senior High Technical School is a Day Co-educational 2nd Cycle Institution The school seeks to produce high caliber of students who are capable of pursuing academic interest at the tertiary level, to enable them meet the socio-economic, cultural and academic needs of the nation Bompeh Senior High Technical School seeks to provide quality and relevant academic and practical oriented education to enable her students to be productive and responsible citizens so as to enhance their contribution to the community and the nation at large
