The educational reform that brought the implementation of the Senior Secondary School programme gave birth to the establishment of Koase Senior High Technical School on the 28th January 1991 The school started with fifty two (52) students and four (4) teachers in the former Experimental Junior Secondary School premises. The first Head master of the school was Nana Kwasi Adjei The initial programmes were three, namely Agriculture Science, Home Economics and Technical. At the end of the first term the total enrolment increased to one hundred and ninety-two (192) The school is located at Koase in the Wenchi Municipality of Brong Ahafo Region. The vision of the school is to become one of the best and most attractive in the country in terms of developing well balanced individuals who will command public respect and credibility• Provide quality formal education to senior high school students to acquire skills, knowledge and attitudes that will prepare them for higher education • Produce individuals who will be academically outstanding and helpful to themselves and society
• In 2011, the school emerged 1st in a debate contest that was organized for Wenchi senior high schools as part of Ghana’s Independence Day celebrationThe school then represented Wenchi Municipal in zone D debate contest which was held at Techiman Senior High School • In 2012, the school placed 2nd in another debate contest which was organized for Wenchi senior high schools as part of Ghana’s Independence day celebration • In 2013, the school emerged 1st in the same debate contest
