Mansoman Senior High School is an achievement to Manso Atwere CommunityAccording to Mr Moses Antwi Boasiako, the then Krontihene, in the early 1970s when Manso was desiring to get a secondary school, all the bigger communities craved for itAmong the competing towns were Manso Nkwanta, Abore, Atwere, Assamang, Yawkrom and AgroyesumManso Atwere had pipe born water, electricity generating plant and a community centre, all of which the competing communities did not haveHaving the upper hand in these facilities, Atwere started the school in its community centre from 1972, and towards the end of 1973 the Government absorbed itThe enrolment was twenty; fourteen males and six females The school aims at delivering top-quality holistic education based on sound academic excellence and moral principles for the total development of its students, as well producing fine ladies and gentlemen to propel the growth and development of mother Ghana
