AB REVIEW SAYS A strong institution in the Volta Region, Ola girls Senior High has consistently shown excellence in academics and sports. It has over the years produced results comparable with the very top schools in the country. This has given it respect as one of the best girl’s institutions in and outside its environs. Clubs and societies are active and provide a good euphoria on campus. Students pride in their uniform. It has a fairly strong alumni base but can be strengthened more to aid the school in improving its infrastructure. The school provides an excellent environment for studies and gives good training to its students. The school’s weak point is in its inability to effectively use the media and internet (websites, blogs) to inform the public on happenings in the school. STUDENTS SAY “…” Teachers are in general committed to work and concern themselves with the discipline training of students. There exists a good student- teacher relationship which allows for easy communication of student concerns. For some reason, students dearly love their uniform. One junior answers “perhaps it’s because of the uniforms are white which portrays how neat and decent looking we are. Some students complained about dining hall food saying more variety should be included in the diets. OLA Senior High School is an all-female school located in Ho.
