Tsito Senior High Technical School was established on 24th February, 1991 under the Headship of Mr. S.K. Amedzor with an initial intake of 143 students. This was in response to the shift in purely theoretical grammar type of education to the development of psychomotor and manipulative skills of the Ghanaian child. It started as a day/hostel school but it is now a fully day/boarding institution with a population of 850 students and a staff strength of 110 teaching and non-teaching staff It is located off the Ho-Accra trunk road, along the Gakus Road in Tsito Awudome in the HoWest District. The school exists to implement pre-tertiary goals of the Ministry of Education in order to achieve high pre-tertiary education and training relevant to the manpower needs of the country through creation of equal opportunities for all. To provide first class secondary, technical and vocational training to students through the utilization and development of their psychomotor and manipulative skills to enable them lead meaningful lives and contribute to national development
